Obviously this isn't everyones cup of tea, but it is mine; and I couldn't be happier. Well I suppose I could, if it were double the size?
Cleaning the smudges from all of this mirror will be a breeze; although time consuming. Windex has no place in my house, I use distilled water, mixed with cornstarch. It makes cleaning glass, and mirror easy. It doesn't streak, and works better than cleaners, such as Sprayway, the brand most glass places use. Cornstarch is cheap, and 'green'; but better than that, it works! The fellow who installed my mirror is going to go home and try it for himself.

I am not comfortable in front of mirrors or cameras...
they tell the truth...I am aging and expanding!
I hope that your painter is of sturdy stock and has a firm hand....and perhaps is a magician!
You look great Leslie! You won't see me showing my body on this blog.
I don't like seeing myself in mirrors either. I'm just trying to find ones that are slimming, and the antiquing softens and disguises lines. It's pretty forgiving.
Our painter is afraid of spirits, living in the mirrors. He's always asking me, "aren't you afraid of being here alone?"; when I stay to lock up after everyones gone home.
Good hint on the cornstarch; great tip!
You can never have too much mirror -ESPECIALLY in a dressing area. This is so beautiful -can't wait to see the final product!
I deleted the post as it was an advertisement.
this is gorgeous! But how do you know what's inside each cabinet? I am going to try the corn starch trick, how much cornstarch in how much water?
