Just posting this photo of the structure that Gibsan constructed to enable them complete the pool.
We never do anything nice, and easy.

I'm going to have antiqued mirror placed on the two, exterior arched windows, with iron grill work installed on top. I think it will be an interesting, and unexpected feature, and using mirror outside appeals to me.

I have be so neglectful of taking pictures and posting progress reports. We managed to get away to Florida for a few weeks, and I've just been too busy with family commitments and various appointments.

The family room fireplace was being installed and the granite slabs are very large.
The granite surround is Brown Eyes, and Nero Assoluto. Nero Assoluto is often incorrectly called Nero Absoluto, I guess because it sounds better.
I had wanted to use the Quartzite, Night Sparkle; but it wasn't recommended for a wood burning fireplace.

There are still large slabs to install all the way to the ceiling. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Just adding a few pictures of the last granite slab. There are still more details to complete; but the major work is done!
